Meet the Gardener

Marcus: I am a 34 year old teacher from Yorkshire. I spent over 10 years living in flats around London with no gardens, so I really threw myself into gardening and allotmenting when I moved to Yorkshire.

My current garden is really a small yard and most of my plants are in pots. I try every year to get more from the space I have and it's a wonderful place to sit and relax or work.

Favourite flower or plant? Verbascum 'Cotswold Beauty'

Favourite season? Summer!

One top-tip for other gardeners: Be brave and try to propagate from cuttings - it's so exciting, easier than you might think, and free!
